Summary:
A one day course from NORMIT aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills that delegates will require when implementing Emergency Risk Treatment Strategies for their own organisation.
The Course Covers:
• Implementing Prevention and Preparedness Risk Treatment Strategies • Principles of Operational Management • Roles and Functions in an Emergency Operations Centre • Equipment needed for an Emergency Operations Centre • Information and Resource Management Systems • Supporting and maintaining the Emergency Operations Centre • Coordinating the Recovery process for the organisation

The venues: The course is held at the Emergency Planning Unit at County Hall in Norwich. This is accessible from the A47 Norwich Southern by-pass, or a 5 minute taxi ride from Norwich Railway Station which is a 2 hour journey from London Liverpool Street.

Depending on delegate numbers, tailored training, based on the course content can be provided to individual organisations.
