A one day course from NORMIT that looks at the principles and importance of emergency plan writing. It examines a structured approach to emergency plan design, development and review.

• The principles of Emergency Planning

• The plan development process

• The plan review process

 

Duration: 1 Day

The venues:

The course is held at the Emergency Planning Unit at County Hall in Norwich. This is accessible from the A47 Norwich Southern by-pass, or a 5 minute taxi ride from Norwich Railway Station which is a 2 hour journey from London Liverpool Street.

Depending on delegate numbers, tailored training, based on the course content, can be provided to individual organisations.

 

Course Presenters:

 

Course Presenter The course is presented by members of the NORMIT team who have a wide range of experience in Emergency and Business Continuity. Sarah Alcock Dip EP MEPS MBCI is the lead tutor on the course. Sarah has been an Emergency Planning practitioner for 10 years and has experience of working with private and public sector organisations to deliver a vast range of training and exercise programmes.

 

Price and booking information:

£400 - This includes refreshments and course material. The course content is approved by Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and delegates receive one years free affiliate membership of the BCI. Members of the EPS and BCI are entitled to a 10% discount.
