The M_o_R course is targeted at providing a coherent and logical solution to the problem of implementing risk management. Since 2002, when the first edition of the UK Government's OGC (Office of Government Commerce) Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners was published, the world of risk management has moved on. High-profile collapses such as Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), Enron and Worldcom have all provided reason for increased focus on corporate governance.

The MoR Course is designed to demonstrate the importance of cost effective risk management both in the analysis of positive opportunities and negative threats as well as in the practical implementation of risk management within the company structure.

Taking the Foundation Examination

- Foundation events are 3 days.
- The course is a mixture of imput and practical sessions covering the M_o_R® method.
- On the 3 rd day, the Foundation exam is taken. Immediately after the exam, the papers are marked by the approved trainer and the results available on the day for delegates. (Successful candidates will receive a certificate reflecting their pass).
- The Foundation exam is a 45 question multiple choice paper. You require 23 marks or more to pass.

After taking the Foundation Examination, students may wish to proceed onto the Practitioner Examination (click here to take me there).

Rubina Faber, SBCI

Having held a number of senior management positions in Finance, IT, Marketing and Retail, Rubina joined Regal in 2002 and, became the first trainer worldwide to be accredited in PRINCE2, MSP and M_o_R.

She worked with the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) to develop M_o_R, and is on the M_o_R (Management of Risk) Exam Board. With in-depth experience and a training record in delivering Programmes, projects and risk, Rubina remains one of the most respected and unique trainers in her field.
